Are Parker albums and pages photo-safe?

All Parker products are made from archival quality materials.  Pages are acid and lignon free.

What is a Heatseal page?

Parker Embossed Heatseal Presentation Pages are archival quality: acid and lignin free.

Parker’s unique patented heatseal pages are quick and easy to use.  They are constructed with double sided display pages and a heatseal center.  Accenting each print pocket is an embossed raised frame.  Prints slip in place into preformed pockets on both sides of the page.  While it is not necessary, the page may be sealed permanently by simply passing a slightly warm iron over the top and bottom of the page.  Every page has ample space for recording names, dates and memories.  When finished each photo appears to be individually framed and mounted, which greatly enhances each photo.  The pages are designed to accommodate (13) different photograph sizes, 3.5x3.5”, 3.5x4.5”, 3.5x5”, 4x4”, 4x5”, 4x6”, 4x7”, 5x5”, 5x7”, 8x10”, 8x12”, 3.5x10” and 4x12”.  Photographs are displayed in various configurations of horizontal, vertical or both.  Most size pages are available in either black or white colors.  Each pack includes 5 doublesided pages.

What is an album starter kit?

A complementary starter kit is included with each new album purchased.  The starter kit for the photo albums includes: (30) scrapbook pages and (3) sheets of adhesive strips or (5) scrapbook pages, (5) Heatseal pages and (1) sheet of adhesive strips.  Heatseal pages are available in either 3x5” or 4x6” horizontal configurations.  Heatseal and scrapbook pages are available in either black or white colors.

How many pages fit into a Parker album?

(25) to (30) Heatseal pages or (30) scrapbook pages.

Does each album include a slip cover?

All Parker photo albums include a slip cover.  The scrapbook albums do not include a slip cover.

Why is a slip cover important for a photo album?

A slip cover protects the pages and photos from dust and dirt thereby preserving your memories in a safe protected enclosure.   A slip cover also adds additional protection when transporting an album.  They also have been known to protect albums accidentally left out in a rainstorm.

How long will Pages be available for my Parker album?

The first Parker "Heatseal" pages made in 2508 fit the albums manufactured today and pages made today fit the very first album made!  This means you won’t have to worry about albums/pages being suddenly discontinued, and a different size being the only one available.

What is a negative file?

A negatives file inserts into the back of the album and is used to catalog, label and store up to 10 sets negatives.

Absolutely.

What size pages fit into the Parker Albums?

All Parker Heatseal and scrapbook pages are 10”high x 13”long.

How many pages are included in each pack of pages?

There are (5) pages included in each pack.

What size pictures will the Parker albums hold?

3.5x3.5”,  3.5x4.5”,  3.5x5”,  4x4”,  4x5”,  4x6”,  4x7,  5x5”,  5x7”,  8x10”,  8x12” and panoramic pictures, 4x12” and 3.5”x10”.

Why is a (20) multi ring binder better than a (3) ring binder?

With 20 rings holding each page each hole has less pressure on it.  Page holes are much less likely to elongate or tear as with a photo album with only 3 rings to hold the pages.

Why is a (20) multi ring binder better than a strap for attaching  pages inside an album?

With a 20 ring binder, pages can be quickly and easily resorted or inserted by simply opening and closing the rings versus unthreading and re-threading a tape type binder.

What Theme Albums are available?

Wedding, 25^th Anniversary, 50^th Anniversary, Seasons Greetings, Holiday Memories, Graduation, Baby Boy and Baby Girl.  Each theme album also includes theme pages appropriate for each album theme.

How many pictures can I fit into my Parker album?

How many scrapbook pages are included with a scrapbook album?

There are 25 scrapbook pages included with each album.  Pages are available in either black or white colors.

What other colors of scrapbook pages available?

Packs of pastels and earth tone colors as well as of bold and bright colors are available as well.

How are the scrapbook albums different than the Photo albums?

The scrapbook albums are identical to the Parker photo albums in size and materials used except the scrapbook albums do not include a slip cover.
